<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of guessing a cause of a failure, which improves efficiency in analyzing a failure cause based on a plurality of logs output from each of apparatuses. <P>SOLUTION: The method of guessing a failure cause is executed by a computer, and includes: a feature amount calculation procedure of synchronizing log data individually output in the plurality of apparatuses mounted on the same vehicle on the basis of output time, and calculating a feature amount of each log data per unit time; a unit time extraction procedure of extracting the unit time to which the feature amount having appearance frequency smaller than a threshold value belongs; a feature amount integration procedure of integrating each feature amount of the extracted unit time and each feature amount of the unit time just before the unit time; a case data extraction procedure of extracting case data most similar to a pattern of the integrated feature amount from a plurality of case data recorded in a storage device in association with the failure cause; and an output procedure of outputting information showing the failure cause associated with the extracted case data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&amp;INPIT</p> |
