In the case of a fan (1) for a motor vehicle, comprising a fan impeller (2), the fan impeller (2) comprising a metal ring (5) and a plastic ring (10), wherein the metal ring (5) is partially embedded in the plastic ring (10) and the metal ring (5) is preferably provided with at least three attachment openings (11) for attachment of the fan (1), and fan blades (3) arranged on the fan impeller (2), the fan (1) is intended to be simple and cheap to manufacture, with a reliable interlocking connection existing between the metal ring (5) and the plastic ring (10). This object is achieved by embedding a radial inner end (13) of the metal ring (5) in the plastic ring (10). |
