A beverage press filter device comprises a filter attached to a solid rod 4 which, in use, sits on the bottom of jug or pot 2 and is put in place before putting coffee or tea leaves into the jug / pot. A second filter is used for plunging the coffee and this is attached to lid 9 by tube 8. The tube 8 connecting the second filter and lid 9 is designed to telescopically fit onto the solid rod 4 enabling the second filter to move down the jug to meet the first filter. The coffee is now tightly trapped between the inner surface walls of the jug, the top filter and the bottom filter. After beverage consumption the filter extraction device 13 will attach to the rod enabling the user to extract both assemblies out of the jug with the tasting substance trapped leaving the jug easily cleanable and free from tasting substance. |
