<p>A surroundings monitoring device (50) for a vehicle (100), includes a pair of side cameras (12), each of which is provided at a side mirror (60), obtaining capture images (CG) capturing views extending to left and right of the vehicle (100) including views below the side mirrors (60), respectively, an image graphic generating portion (36) generating an image graphic (IG) of the vehicle (100) from a view point above a rear portion thereof towards a front lower portion thereof, or from a view point above a front portion of the vehicle towards a rear lower portion thereof in order to include at least a portion of the vehicle (100) and the side mirrors (60) on the image graphic (IG), and a side image generating portion (34) generating left and right side images (LG, RG) on the basis of the capture images (CG) so as to correspond to images shown at left and right portions of the image graphic (IG) displayed on a monitor (41), respectively.</p> |
