<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sheet which effectively improves the front direction luminance by improving efficiency of using optical source light. <P>SOLUTION: The optical sheet 40 includes a body part 42 and a plurality of unit shape elements 45 which are arranged side by side on the outgoing side of the body part and are respectively linearly extended in the directions crossing the arrangement direction. Each unit shape element includes a pair of side surfaces 47 which are extended from the body part and approach each other as being separated from the body part.
