<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle head position detector, an on-vehicle display device, and a drive support apparatus, which are capable of accurately detecting a position of a head. <P>SOLUTION: An on-vehicle head position detector includes plural transmitters/receivers and a transmission/reception control part. The plural transmitters/receivers are disposed at different positions each other facing a head of a passenger getting on a vehicle, each transmits at least either of a sound wave and an electromagnetic wave toward the head, and receives a reflected wave. The transmission/reception control part is connected to the plural transmitters/receivers, causes any of the plural transmitters/receivers to transmit a transmission wave, obtains a result of the reflected wave received by the plural transmitters/receivers, and detects a transmitter/receiver closest to the head on the basis of the result. The transmission/reception control part causes the transmitter/receiver closest to the head to transmit a head detection wave, obtains a result of the reflected wave received by the plural transmitters/receivers, and detects the position of the head on the basis of the received result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
