PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to suppress the separation of an active material from an active material layer and the crack of the cut of a separator or a current collector, thereby improving cycle durability. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery (10) includes a positive electrode (140) including a positive active material layer (141); a negative electrode (150) including a negative active material layer; a separator arranged between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; an adhesive layer (170) which is arranged between the positive electrode and the separator and/or the negative electrode and the separator and attaches the positive electrode and/or negative electrode with the separator. The ratio of the contact area where the adhesive layer is in contact with the positive active material layer and/or negative active material layer is different from an area where the positive active material layer and the negative active material layer are overlapped, within a range that the positive active material layer and the negative active material layer are not overlapped with each other. |
