<p>PURPOSE: A touch screen with a braille function and a display device using the same are provided to read out data obtained from the Web by using a terminal with a display and information contained in newspaper articles and books, etc through the sense of touch, thereby offering the same feeling as the blind reads the braille book. CONSTITUTION: A touch panel (110) detects the touch location of a user. An electric induction panel (120) adheres closely to the upper part of the touch panel and delivers electrical stimulation to a contacted body element (10). A touch screen (100) provides a braille screen for displaying braille through the touch panel and detects the touch location of the user on the braille screen. The touch screen delivers the electrical stimulation of a specific pattern corresponding to the detected touch location to the body element of the user contacted through the electric induction panel. The touch screen provides braille cells for dividing the touch screen into areas through lines, which the user can recognize through the sense of touch, on the surface thereof.</p> |
