PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an iron-nickel alloy substrate for CI(G)S solar cell is provided to use a horizontal electroforming method, thereby continuously manufacturing a thin substrate for the solar cell. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing an iron-nickel alloy substrate for CI(G)S solar cell includes: a step of feeding an electrolyte between a conductive substrate(11) and an anode electrode(32); a step of applying a current to the conductive substrate and the anode electrode at the conductive substrate in order to electrodeposit iron and nickel, which are included in the electrolyte, on the conductive substrate; a step of separating an iron-nickel alloy electrodepositing layer, which is formed by electrodepositing the iron and the nickel, from the conductive substrate in order to obtain an iron-nickel alloy foil(50); and a step of forming at least one diffusion-proof film of a metal, which is selected from a group of chrome and a nickel, on the electrodepositing surface of the foil. The electrolyte includes 2 to 25 g/L of an iron precursor and 40 to 60 g/L of a nickel precursor. |
