PURPOSE: A lithium polymer secondary battery is provided to protect an electrode assembly and an electrode terminal from mechanical impacts without a separate external pack. CONSTITUTION: A lithium polymer secondary battery(100) comprises: an electrode assembly(110) which comprises a first electrode, a separator, and a second electrode; a cover which comprises a first cover(130) sealing the upper part of the electrode assembly, and a second cover(14) sealing the lower part of the electrode assembly; an exterior surrounding a whole part of the electrode assembly and a part of sides of the first and second cover; and a terminal protection unit(150) which is located between the electrode assembly and the first cover, combined with the electrode terminal of the electrode assembly and protecting the electrode terminal. |
