PURPOSE: A vibration motor and a mobile terminal including the same are provided to optimally arrange components and to reduce the size of the mobile terminal by using the vibration motor which horizontally vibrates. CONSTITUTION: A housing includes an inner space for receiving components. The housing includes a first cover (311) and a second cover (312). A coil (360) is formed on the housing. A moving unit (320) reciprocates between a first side and a third side. The first side faces the third side. An elastic member (351,352) is formed between the moving unit and the housing. A roller member (340) rolls in contact with the upper surface or the lower surface of the housing.
