PURPOSE: A horizontal type scroll compressor is provided to prevent a stator from being rotated or moved in an axial direction by installing fixing members for fixing the stator on one end or both ends of the stator. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal type scroll compressor includes a casing (101), a driving motor (102), a crank shaft (125), and a compression unit. The casing includes a closed internal space connected with a discharge pipe. The driving motor is installed in the internal space of the casing and includes a stator (121) and a rotator (122). The crank shaft is joined to the stator of the driving motor. The compression unit is joined to the crank shaft and includes a rotating scroll (105) with a rotating wrap (152) and fixing scroll (104) with a fixing wrap (132) to form two pairs of compressive chambers (P) by being engaged to the rotating wrap of the rotating scroll. A fixing member (123) for fixing the stator to the casing is formed on at least one end among axial both ends of the stator. |
