PURPOSE: A composition for inducing differentiation into dendritic cells and a pharmaceutical composition containing the differentiated dendritic cells are provided to show strong antigen presenting ability and cheaply differentiate dendritic cells using all-trans retinoic acid and flagellin. CONSTITUTION: A composition for inducing differentiation into dendritic cells contains all-trans retinoic acid(ATRA) and flagellin as active ingredients. The dendritic cells have positive immunological property on a surface antigen of CD40, CD80, CD86, MHC class I molecule, or MHC class II molecule. A method for inducing differentiation into dendritic cells comprises: a step of treating monocytes or macrophage with 0.01-10 uM of ATRA for 3-24 hours to induce TLR-5 protein expression on the cell surface; and a step of treating the ATRA-treated cells with flagellin for 3-24 hours. A pharmaceutical composition contains the dendritic cells as an active ingredient. |
