PURPOSE: A combustion apparatus for flammable powder is provided to consecutively feed the powder into a combustion chamber in order to combust fuel gas together with the powder as a fuel source, thereby reducing the amount of the fuel gas required for operating a boiler or a thermoelectric power plant. CONSTITUTION: A combustion apparatus for flammable powder includes a combustion chamber (10), an exhaust pipe (14), an ignition source (16), a nozzle (17), a fuel gas feeding pipe (20), a mixing part (30), an air feeding pipe (12), and a flammable powder feeding pipe (50). The exhaust pipe is connected to the upper end of the combustion chamber. The ignition source is placed at a lower end inside the combustion chamber. The nozzle adjacent to the ignition source is placed inside the combustion chamber. A fuel gas feeding source (21) is connected to the upper end of the fuel gas feeding pipe. The other end of the fuel gas feeding pipe is connected to the nozzle, and the fuel gas feeding pipe feeds evaporated fuel gas to the nozzle. The mixing part is connected to the middle of the fuel gas feeding pipe. The air feeding pipe is connected to the lower end of the combustion chamber. A flammable powder feeding source (40) is connected to the upper end of the flammable powder feeding pipe. |
