A back light unit and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) by using the same are provided to minimize the interference of light and to increase the brightness, thereby enhancing the display quality of an image. Plural lamp groups(1G,2G,3G,4G) are constructed by plural lamps. A bottom case(4) receives plural lamp groups. A reflection sheet(6) is formed to the inside surface of the bottom case and reflects the light beam from the plural lamps. A diffusion plate(8) covers the entire surface of the bottom case and diffuses the light beam from each lamp. Plural optical sheets(10) are arranged at the front surface of the diffusion plate and makes the brightness distribution of the light beam uniformly. Plural partitions are equipped between the plural lamp groups. Scattering patterns are formed at the rear of the diffusion plate and scatters the light beam from each lamp and the light beam reflected from each partition. Scattering patterns are formed in parallel to each other and covers the plural partitions and the adjacent laps. |
