PURPOSE: An electromagnetic contactor and an assembling method thereof are provided to be easily assembled and to reduce the number of component which has to be managed and to reduce manufacturing costs by simplifying an assembling process. CONSTITUTION: An assembling method of an electromagnetic contactor comprises: a step which combines a contact carrier module (20) on the upper side of a frame module (10); a step which combines a module housing (30) in the state that the contact carrier module is combined with the frame module; a steps which preferentially assembles a line side module (40) and a road side module (50) with multiple components and prepares it as an independent module; a step which combines the line side module and the road side module with the module housing; a step which covers the top of the module housing with a cover (60).
