<p>A covering panel comprising a backing board having a front surface, an opposed rear surface, two opposed longitudinal edges, two opposed lateral edges extending between the two opposed longitudinal edges; a plurality of elongated laths secured to the front surface of the backing board in abutting and parallel rows and disposed in an end-to-end configuration, a section of the elongated laths extending outwardly past a first one of the lateral edges of the backing board; wherein the backing board has a lateral receiving seat, free of elongated laths, extending along a second one of the lateral edges of the backing board, the lateral receiving seat being complementary to the section of the elongated laths extending outwardly past the first one of the lateral edges of the backing board. There is also provided a support surface covering including a plurality of covering panels and also a method for covering a support surface with a plurality of covering panels.</p> |
