OPTICAL COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FOR MOVING OBJECT, OPTICAL COMMUNICATION APPARATUS

PURPOSE: An optical communications system and device for a moving object are provided to enable multiple optical communications modules to individually form a communications path with fixed optical communications devices installed along a moving path, thereby performing communications through another optical communications module if a certain optical communications module performs a handover. CONSTITUTION: Multiple fixed optical communications devices (2001,2002) are installed along the moving path of a moving object. Each of the multiple fixed optical communications devices is equipped with a first optical communications module. The first optical communications module transmits/receives an optical beacon signal and an optical data signal. An optical communications device (302) for moving objects is installed at the moving object. The optical communications device for moving objects is equipped with second optical communications modules. The second optical communications modules transmit/receive an optical beacon signal and an optical data signal to/from a part of the multiple fixed optical communications devices.
