A liquid crystal display device having uniform common voltage distribution within a display panel is disclosed. The liquid crystal display device includes a display panel including a display area and a non-display area surrounding the display area, a plurality of gate lines and data lines arranged on the display area to intersect each other, so as to define a plurality of pixel regions, thin-film transistors formed at respective intersections of the gate lines and the data lines, pixel electrodes formed on the respective pixel regions and connected to the thin film transistors, a plurality of first common lines provided between the neighboring gate lines and arranged parallel to the gate lines, and a plurality of second common lines provided between the neighboring data lines and arranged parallel to the data lines, the second common lines being electrically connected to the first common lines. |
