摘要 PURPOSE: A vehicle air conditioner controlling method is provided to reduce a cycling effect and an icing effect of an evaporator at the same time by controlling delay time for delaying a timing of turning off a compressor to be successively increased, thereby improving the operation efficiency of a vehicle air conditioner. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle air conditioner controlling method includes the following steps of: performing a maximum cooling control if a maximum cooling mode is set (S20); counting time (t) elapsed after sensing a temperature of an evaporator less than a reference temperature if a thermistor senses the temperature lower than the reference temperature (S50); turning off a compressor if the elapsed time is more than delay time (d) (S70); sensing the temperature of the evaporator with the thermistor again (S80); turning on the compressor if the temperature sensed by the thermistor is over the reference temperature (S100); amending the delay time to be increased as much as a predetermined increment (a) (S110); and repeating steps from a step for sensing the temperature of the evaporator with the thermistor to the step turning on the compressor and correcting the delay time to be increased as much as a predetermined increment.
