PURPOSE: An indium selective absorber, a manufacturing method of the same, and a method for collecting indium from waste disposable containers using the absorber are provided to recycle resources by using saw dust as a heavy metal absorber. CONSTITUTION: An indium selective absorber is obtained by substituting the phenol hydroxide groups of saw dust molecules with phosphate groups. An indium releasing agent for releasing indium from the indium selective absorber is one or more selected from hydrochloric acid, ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid, and nitrilo triacetic acid. A manufacturing method of the indium selective absorber includes the following steps: saw dust is impregnated into a phosphoric acid aqueous solution and is filtered to form phosphoric acid impregnated saw dust; the phosphoric acid impregnated saw dust is heat treated to form phosphate group substituted saw dust; and the phosphate group substituted saw dust is washed and dried. |
