PURPOSE: A safety device for a train platform is provided to stably perform the rope lifting work of a rope lifting unit and efficiently deal with safety accidents caused by a rope. CONSTITUTION: A safety device for a train platform comprises a pair of main bodies (110), two or more blocks (130, 140), wire ropes (200), and rope supports. The main bodies are vertically positioned on a platform to be separated from each other. The blocks are movably installed on the main bodies and overlap with each other to be lifted up together. The wire ropes connect the blocks in one of the main bodies to the blocks in the other one. The rope supports rotate and support the wire ropes so that the wire ropes can be connected to the blocks.
