PURPOSE: A language learning system and a controlling method thereof are provided for a learner to clearly and easily understand language logic and to improve learning efficiency by causing interest of language learning. CONSTITUTION: A language learning system includes a leaner's terminal(100), a learner management device(200) and a language learning device(300). The learner's terminal includes a learner input unit and a display unit. The learner management device stores and manages authentication data and learning accomplishment related data of a learner. The language learning device extracts a sentence to be learned corresponding to the level of a learner by receiving learning accomplishment related data of a learner from the learner management device. The language learning device analyzes a sentence to be learned, displays a logical characteristic of a word comprising a sentence and a logical characteristic of the complete sentence by color or symbol and provides to a learner's terminal.
