A second battery is provided to eliminate assembly errors and poor molding by attaching substrate mold which is produced by molding the protection circuit board, with a molten resin, to a bare cell. A secondary battery comprises: a bare cell equipped with the pouch which surrounds an electrode assembly connected to the electrode tap to be exposed; an upper cover equipped with one and more engaging holes, and surrounds a wide side of the bare cell; a lower cover equipped with protrusions connected to the engaging holes and surrounds the side facing the side of the bare cell; and a substrate mold penetrated by protrusions of the lower cover. |
