The installation (1) comprises a series of horizontal planes (2A, 2D) arranged in descending stairs in a direction of movement of water to be treated. A distal edge (3) of the plane is connected to a proximal edge of a next clip by a wall (5) of vertical transition to accelerate the water flow. A length of the horizontal plane measured in the direction of water movement is equal to or lower than that of the plane that precedes it. The length of the horizontal planes gradually decreases by 10%. The installation further includes a unit for scraping the horizontal planes. The installation further includes a unit for scraping the horizontal planes, and a belt conveyer that parallelly extends to one of lateral margins and is tilted on the horizontal planes so that the output of the belt conveyer is on a level higher than an input of the staircase to receive solids. The scraping mean moves in the direction of the water movement and moves transversely within the direction of the water movement, and is a blade scraper arranged in a nonactive position along a side of the horizontal plane to form a lateral wall channeling the water. The side of the plane opposed to that containing the scraper in its nonactive position presents a retractable wall. The scraping unit is moved by a transmission screw and an endless belt.
|
