PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a breakage when a rotational load due to an object to be measured becomes large. SOLUTION: A load cell unit 2 comprises: a body case 3. A load cell 10 comprises: a cell body 11; and strain gauges 14a to 14f and 15a to 15f. A metal ball 12 is placed on a fixed plate 17 fixed to the cell body 11. A load cell base 13 is fixed to a body base 5. A holding rod 26 is fixed to a bottom plate 25. A top plate 31 connected to the bottom plate 25 is placed on the metal ball 12. The top plate 31 is connected to the fixed plate 17 by coil springs 43, 44. When a rotational load applied on the holding rod 26 becomes large, the coil springs 43, 44 are extended, and the top plate 31 is rotated relative to the body case 3. When a wall surface of a housing recess 5g of the body base 5 abuts on the side surface of the bottom plate 25, the rotation of the body case 3 is stopped. COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
