PURPOSE: A vehicle shift range switch device and a diagnostics control method thereof are provided to increase an operational use range by uniting and controlling signals passing through a plurality of units. CONSTITUTION: A unit is arranged in a housing mounted at a vehicle. The unit forms a predetermined shift range by being switched by the operation of a user. A controller(20) is electrically connected with the unit. A storing unit(30) stores preset detection data in order to confirm a detection state of the unit. An output unit drives an external output device according to a control signal of the controller. A driver comprises a high-side driver and a low-side driver. A display unit(80) indicates an error condition according to a warning control signal of the controller. |
