A method for controlling a hydraulic fan motor for cooling a radiator is provided to improve the performance of an air conditioner upon engine start by always controlling a fan motor under the optimal conditions according to an operation of the air conditioner. A method for controlling a hydraulic fan motor for cooling a radiator comprises the steps of checking temperature of cooling water, working oil and fuel through temperature sensors(30) and controlling a fan motor(11) through a controller(20) such that a hydraulic fan(12) operates at an optimal speed based on the checked temperature. The controller receives signals related to an operation of an air conditioner, compares a minimum fan motor control value with an optimal fan motor control value obtained from the temperature sensors, and controls the fan motor according to the greater one of the two values. |
