PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection array and a design method, capable of simply and effectively improving reflection characteristics of the reflection array.SOLUTION: The reflection array for reflecting an incident wave in a desired direction comprises a substrate having a surface perpendicular to a predetermined axis, and at least first and second element groups respectively including a plurality of elements which are provided on the substrate and reflect a radio wave. The first and second element groups reflect the radio wave entering at an angle unequal to zero degree with respect to the predetermined axis at different reflection phases, respectively. Each of the plurality of elements belonging to the first element group reflects the radio wave at a first reflection phase, and each of the plurality of elements belonging to the second element group reflects the radio wave at a second reflection phase different from the first reflection phase. |
