摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the glossiness or concentration of an image on a sheet under conveyance with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A measurement device includes: light emitting elements 11a, 11b for emitting the rays of light from different angles to a sheet P under conveyance; light receiving elements 12a, 12b for receiving the rays of light reflected on an image formed on the sheet P, and for detecting the received light quantity and light receiving position; and an arithmetic part 102 for calculating at least either the glossiness or concentration of the image from the received light quantity and light receiving position of the image detected by the light receiving parts 12a, 12b. Then, the arithmetic part 102 calculates a positional deviation value from the measurement reference position of the sheet under conveyance and inclination quantity with respect to the sheet conveyance direction by using a correlation between the preliminarily calculated light receiving positions in the light receiving elements 12a, 12b and the position deviation value/inclination quantity of the sheet from the light receiving position detected by the light receiving elements 12a, 12b. Furthermore, the arithmetic part 102 calculates the received light quantity at the measurement reference position from the correlation between the preliminarily calculated position deviation value/inclination amount of the sheet and the received light quantity, and calculates the glossiness of the image or the like.
