PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce outgassing generated from a color filter, to suppress panel bubbles due to the outgassing generated from the color filter, and to eliminate a display defect and a liquid crystal alignment unevenness due to bubble generation of a liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: A color filter for a liquid crystal display device uses an overcoat material coated and formed on a black matrix and a coloring pixel. The overcoat material has a heat weight loss rate within 5% when heated at 230°C, for 3 hours, and the weight loss rate within 1% when heated at 120°C, for 1 hour. |
