PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid dangerous situations for work to secure safety of a maintenance person or the like in a pit.SOLUTION: An elevator includes a car 3 controlled by a control device 6 in moving up/down in a hoistway 1, operation control panels D1 and D2 provided in the car 3 and on the car 3 to control moving up/down of the car 3, and a transmission line 12 whose one end is connected to the control device 6 and whose other end is guided to a bottom part of the hoistway 1, and includes a portable and attachable/detachable control device 16 at the other end of the transmission line 12, and the control device 16 has a button for giving permission, by being depressed, to moving up/down control controlled by the operation control panel D1 or the operation control panel D2, so that the elevator is not driven without permission given by the button. |
