PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire with a terminal which can be protected against electric erosion while reducing the manufacturing cost, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: A wire with a terminal 10 includes a wire 40 produced by covering a core wire 41, consisting of a strand obtained by stranding a plurality of metallic element wires 42, with an insulation coating 43, and a terminal 11 having a crimp piece 25 being crimped to the core wire 41, exposed by stripping the insulation coating 43, at the terminal of the wire 40. The element wire 42 is made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy, and the terminal 11 consists of a metal base material 1 composed of copper or a copper alloy. An insulation coating 29 composed of an insulation material is formed at least on the end face 25A of the crimp piece 25. |
