PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comparator that suppresses response delay.SOLUTION: The comparator has: a differential input section having a differential pair and a constant current source; and an output section. The constant current source includes: two current mirror circuits each comprising two transistors; and a characteristic adjustment section having two diodes and a resistance. The first transistor, the third transistor and the first diode are connected in series. The second transistor, the fourth transistor, the resistance and the second diode are connected in series. A cathode electrode of each of the two diodes is connected to a ground. A control electrode of the second transistor is connected between the even-numbered transistors and to a control electrode of the first transistor. A control electrode of the third transistor is connected between the odd-numbered transistors and to a control electrode of the fourth transistor. At least one characteristic of each of the two diodes and the resistance is adjusted such that an output signal of the output section is not dependent on temperature. |
