PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of an electrical connection with an opposite-side connector by strongly coupling a tubular part of a female type terminal member to which a male type terminal of the opposite-side connector is inserted to an elastic member.SOLUTION: A tubular part 13 into which an opposite-side terminal is inserted, is formed in a terminal member 12 provided within a connector housing of an electric connector. Furthermore, in a circumferential portion of the tubular part 13, an elastic member 16 is mounted which ensures an electrical connection between the opposite-side terminal and the terminal member by being brought into contact with the opposite-side terminal while being elastically deformed when the opposite-side terminal is inserted into the tubular part. The elastic member 16 extends, on an outer circumferential surface of the tubular part, from a rear end side of the outer circumferential surface to the front end side thereof, is then folded substantially in an U-shape, passes on a front-side end face of the tubular part, reaches an inner circumferential surface side from an outer circumferential surface side of the tubular part and then extends, on an inner circumferential surface of the tubular part, from a front end side of the inner circumferential surface toward the rear side thereof. Moreover, a lock part 17D formed in the elastic member is locked to another-side end face of the tubular part. |
