PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel dam body structure with excellent earthquake resistance for not causing separation or destruction of the dam body structure due to a crack of a joint even when soil is shaken by an earthquake, and a breast wall using the steel dam body structure.SOLUTION: A steel dam body structure 10 is formed by joining, in a horizontal direction, steel plates having projections in parallel with a vertical direction formed for 4 to 5 columns in the range of the width of 8 to 12 m in the horizontal direction. A lower part of the steel dam body structure 10 is fixed to a pile head part of a steel pipe pile 6 installed to a base rock 2 and buried underground to configure a breast wall. When the steel pipe pile 6 is disposed in every pitch of the projections of the steel dam body structure 10, deformation of the steel dam body structure 10 is prevented against an earthquake, and destruction as the breast wall is prevented. |
