PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method and an image forming apparatus which improve an image quality by reducing visibility of streak-shaped density irregularities due to non-ejection and ejection abnormalities, and which improve an image quality by reducing visibility of random streaks due to enlargement of an ejection direction error of specific nozzles.SOLUTION: In a constitution equipped with a plurality of nozzles capable of striking droplets on the same striking position regarding a sub scanning direction, halftone processing is performed by a resolution of 1/N (N is an integer not smaller than 2) of an output resolution to an input image (10) (step S12). Nozzles are assigned so that dots composing the same line in the sub scanning direction include dots struck from different nozzles. Moreover, a correspondence between the assigned nozzles and striking positions in an output solution image is set (step S14). An output image (16) of the output resolution is generated on the basis of the nozzle allocation. |
