PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pantograph supporting device that can reduce burden of a worker by lowering frequency of a maintenance work, and can hold a pantograph in a neutral position, while preventing the pantograph from being inclined to an unintended direction.SOLUTION: A pantograph supporting device comprises: a pantograph 42 that is tiltably supported along an arc of a prescribed radius centering on the pendulum center c, on an upper part of a vehicle body 22 that is tiltably supported centering on a pendulum center c relative to a truck; a bevel gear 47 rotating with a rotation amount corresponding to a relative tilting angle of the vehicle body 22 relative to the truck; a vertical shaft 55 that transmits rotation of the bevel gear 47 to the bevel gear 61 provided at an upper part of the vehicle body 22; and a transmission 66 that tilts the pantograph 42 with the tilting angle corresponding to the rotation amount of the bevel gear 61.
