PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer medium having excellent foil cutting properties when transferring a receiving layer to which a color material of a thermal transfer sheet is transferred to a body to be transferred, and also capable of easily obtaining highly durable printed matter.SOLUTION: An intermediate transfer medium includes a protecting layer and a receiving layer laminated on a surface of one part of a base material, wherein the protecting layer contains a binder resin and a filler with a particle diameter of 1 nm or more and 200 nm or less.
