PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dot matrix printer that can print the same number of good-looking character as ordinary character in one line.SOLUTION: A dot matrix printer includes: a storage device that stores a received print data; a print head that forms an image by bring a recording medium in contact with a pin; a print head moving part that moves the print head; a recording medium conveyance mechanism that conveys the recording medium; a print head HP sensor that detects the print head is in a home position; and a control part that sets a print density high when a character to be printed out of the print data is determined to be italic. |
