PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power consumption sensor and extension units thereof, which constitute a power consumption measurement system capable of offering superior accuracy in power consumption measurement by employing the simplest configuration possible.SOLUTION: A power consumption measurement system 100 includes a power consumption sensor 1 which measures current flowing through a first measurement point in an AC circuit 5 and voltage across the AC circuit 5 to compute power consumption at the first measurement point, and extension units (power consumption sensor 2-4), each being configured to be able to communicate with the power consumption sensor 1 and to measure current flowing through a second measurement point in the AC circuit 5. The power consumption sensor 1 repetitively sends a synchronous pulse synchronized with an end point of each measurement period of predetermined duration to the extension units. Measurement of the current flowing through the second measurement point by each extension unit is triggered by receiving the synchronous pulse. |
