PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit for driving switching elements which reduces the number of photo couplers 18 for reporting a flow of overcurrent through a switching element S*#.SOLUTION: A collector and an emitter of a switching element S*p are interconnected by a diode 42p and a capacitor 44p. The emitter of the switching element S*p is connected to an emitter of a switching element S*n via a capacitor 44n, a diode 42n, a terminal T7p and others. The configuration determines a flow of overcurrent through either of the switching elements S*p, S*n if, in a period when the switching element S*n is turned on, determining that logic of an output signal of a comparator 46n is "H" though the switching element S*n has been turned over to an on state. A photo coupler 18f notifies a control device 14 accordingly. |
