PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the life and reliability of a rim base by keeping the rim base in an adequate cylindrical shape when mounting a wheel on a wheel mounting cylinder.SOLUTION: A clamp device 21 for fixing a rear wheel 10 to a wheel mounting cylinder 9 includes a ring member 22 formed of a cylinder body to be inserted between the wheel mounting cylinder 9 and an outer rim 14 to hold the outer rim 14 between a rim spacer 19 and itself, a plurality of thrust members 23 provided at spaces in the peripheral direction of the wheel mounting cylinder 9 for thrusting the ring member 22 toward the rim spacer 19, and a plurality of fixing members consisting of stud bolts 24 and nuts 25 for fixing the thrust members 23 to the wheel mounting cylinder 9. Thus, the clamp device 21 enables the ring member 22 formed of the cylinder body to be equally pushed against the whole periphery of the outer rim 14 to keep the outer rim 14 in a cylindrical shape. |
