PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water sealing device capable of easily removing dust in an annular gutter with simple constitution, and to provide a dust discharge method.SOLUTION: A water sealing device 10 and a dust discharge method comprise blocking a gas in a container 12 from outside by providing an annular gutter 13 on the upper peripheral edge of the container 12 having a lid 11 and submerging the peripheral lower part 15 of the lid 11 in a sealing water 14 to be supplied to the gutter. By spraying a gas into the gutter 13 through a piping 17 for gas spray while discharging the sealing water 14 to the annular gutter 13 through the piping 16 for water discharge, the water level of the sealing water 14 in the gutter 13 is fluctuated up and down by discharge of the sealing water 14 to form the flow of the sealing water 14 toward a discharge port 19. Besides, the gas spray causes a collapse of deposited dust 18, and the dust 18 is discharged from the discharge port 19. |
