A magnetic resonance imaging device (100) according to an embodiment is provided with a sequence control unit (30) and an image generation unit (42). The sequence control unit executes a first scan for collecting echo signals with a first cardiac phase and a second scan for collecting echo signals of a second cardiac phase, using a pulse sequence in which the nuclear spin of a subject is excited by the application of an excitation pulse and a plurality of echo signals are continuously generated by the application of refocusing pulses subsequent thereto. The image generation unit generates an image of a fluid within the subject on the basis of the echo signals. Further, the sequence control unit makes the flop angle of the refocusing pulses in the first scan and the flop angle of the refocusing pulses in the second scan different from each other. |
