<p>According to the present invention, an apparatus for measuring blood pressure comprises: a pressure sensor unit for contacting the skin in order to sense the atmospheric pressure, applied pressure, and pressure of the blood vessel transmitted to the skin, and outputting the sensed pressures in the form of an electrical signal; a signal-dividing unit for taking, as an input, the output signal from the pressure sensor unit and dividing the received signal into a direct-current signal and an alternating-current signal; a signal-processing unit for processing the divided signals; and a blood pressure calculation unit for calculating the applied pressure using the processed electrical signal, and calculating an average blood pressure value using the calculated applied pressure value and a variation value of the electrical signal.</p> |
