PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire having a function of suppressing the occurrence of bare at a wear indicator without impairing appearance or forming cracks.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire includes a wear indicator 5 at the groove bottom of a main groove 2 formed in a tread surface 1 to extend in a circumferential direction. At least one recess 6 is formed in the surface of the wear indicator to reduce the occupied volume of the wear indicator and to cut down a rubber material to be used. As a result, a rubber flow failure in vulcanization molding hardly occurs to suppress the occurrence of bare. |
