PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data collection system capable of reducing time or the load required for processing in which transmitting and receiving data in a system is continued when connection between data collection nodes is cut off.SOLUTION: In a data collection system 1, a plurality of nodes 2 are multi-stage connected in a multi-hop network of tree structure. The nodes 2 carry out data transmission processes as a slave node, and data reception processes as a master node, alternately on a time division basis. When functioning as the slave node H, the node 2, upon being disconnected with a master node F, selects a tentative master node E as a tentative and transmits an alternative route flag. When functioning as the tentative master node E, the node 2, upon receiving the alternative route flag from the slave node H, temporarily adds the slave node H to a polling list, attaches the alternative route flag to the data received from the slave node H to transfer it to the higher-order master node B. |
