PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor which reduces a friction force with a moving handrail, miniaturizes component dimensions and performs the adjustment of the tension of a moving hand rail and performs a guide in a width direction.SOLUTION: A passenger conveyor includes a support structural body disposed on a building, a plurality of foot boards endlessly connected which are circulated and moved in the support structural body, rails vertically arranged along the moving direction of the foot boards, an endless moving hand rail 3 in which both ends in the width direction turn being ears 3c folded in an ear shape and a remaining part in the width direction turns to be a flat planar surface 3d and a tension adjusting and traveling guide which presses the inner peripheral side of the planar surface 3d by a plurality of rollers 1a to 1c having widths h2 smaller than a width h1 of the planar surface 3d of the moving hand rail 3 in which at least one roller 1b and remaining either of rollers 1a and 1c among the plurality of rollers 1a to 1c are arranged to shift width direction center positions of the rollers from each other on positions which guide the traveling so that the moving hand rail 3 does not meander to a prescribed extent or larger. |
