PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic separator with high separation performance.SOLUTION: This magnetic separator includes: a cylindrical column for flowing in water to be treated and flowing out treated water processed internally; a plurality of filters which are arranged vertically to a flow of the water to be treated flown in the column and formed of ceramic materials; an interruption means in which a water passing hole for passing through the water to be treated is formed at the center, and an outer peripheral face comes in contact with an inside wall of the column to interrupt a flow passage of the water to be treated passing between the inside wall of the column and a wire mesh; and a magnet placed at a predetermined position of an outer periphery of the column for applying a magnetic field to the filters. |
